I have used Techfix twice this year for my Xbox series X – hdmi socket needed fixing and my power supply needed replacing recently . I used Techfix this week as the optical drive on my Series X needed replacing. I emailed an enquiry on Tuesday afternoon and had a response almost immediately from Ashley. I was able to arrange a drop-in repair for Thursday, and the job was completed in about an hour, and now my XBox is again able to read all the discs it was complaining about.I was really impressed by the service, I’ll definitely be using Techfix again for any repairs of this nature (I’ve some older consoles that will likely need capacitors replaced soon, if not already), and I’ve already passed on a recommendation to someone else on Bluesky.

Took my iMac to Techfix as the screen had developed horizontal black lines. Ash quickly established that it would require a new screen from Apple (prohibitively expensive) but refused to take any payment for his services as said he really hadn’t done anything!I will definitely be using Techfix again should the need arise.Highly recommended, lovely guy.
The right thumb stick of my Steam Deck broke on Sunday night, I emailed TechFix that night and before 9am on Monday, I’d received a response saying to bring it in. Explained the issue and Ash was understanding and helpful, and said it would be done in half an hour. All in all a friendly and efficient experience. Ash is knowledgeable and helpful, I will definitely be using TechFix for all my future tech issues after this!

Had a steam deck that died due to a dodgy battery. The problem was assessed, quoted repaired and returned within a week. My Steam Deck spent longer in the post than it did in the workshop!Fantastic service at a reasonable price.Heartily recommend.
Series x fan died this morning, rang round a few places and this gent was easily the right choice!Almost half the price of competitors and a 40minute turnaround!Completely grateful for restoring my sanity and couldn’t recommend any higher! Thanks
Looked all over for someone to diagnose and repair my steam deck locally. No one was willing to fix torn pads on the pcb. After doing some googling, I found this shop.(albeit over 200 miles away). Luckly after reaching out to the owner he was adamant that he could fix it. So I sent the device off to him. He had it for just over a week and it was fixed.Overall great customer service, very informative about what repairs had to be done.He has saved me time and money instead of sending the device back the valve and waiting weeks/months for it back.Thank you sir!
I contacted Techfix in Crowthorne regarding my son’s PS5 HDMI Port as the port its self was damaged, I dropped the PS5 in and the work was completed within the same day, Nothing was to much to ask.. Would highly recommend ***** Thank you guys very much.
